In its 21st century reincarnation, The Oxford Mint’s aim is to develop precious metal products both honouring the history and provenance of the original Oxford Mint while also providing relevance and interest to today’s investors and collectors. Our team of contributors to The Oxford Mint are drawn from varying backgrounds and industry experience.
Bullion coin and bar programs - with a predominantly British theme - are slated for release over the coming months.
The principle products of The Oxford Mint are designed by the renowned and prominent designers who are globally recognised for their work.
A precious metal payment card is also in development and will be released in 2024.
Stephen is an entrepreneur working within infrastructure and energy. An economist by training, he spent seven years with Unilever's Finance, British Airways Fuel Finance and GE Capital’s Treasury Teams respectively. In 2004 he returned to South Africa to help disadvantaged entrepreneurs start businesses in the technology and renewable energy space. He has since advised a number of African governments on energy security strategies, with his exploration company being awarded two oil and gas blocks - covering over a total of 5 million acres (the size of Wales).
Stephen has recently ventured into the virtual currency space with the successful launch of a cryptocurrency.
Rajesh has worked in various private equity roles involving deal origination, acquisition and turnarounds over the past twenty-five years in basic industries, real estate and jewellery manufacturing and sales with geographical coverage spanning UK/Europe/MENA/Asia and the Indian sub-continent.
He has done a significant stint with The Royal Mint as Director of New Business where he led the precious metal payment card business and initiated new businesses such as refining and bar making.
In most instances he has had full P&L and strategic responsibility for the businesses, usually reporting directly to the Board.
